This National Guard position is for a ARTILLERY REPAIRER (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1223000 and is part of the FL SMO, National Guard.
Requirements:
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709", and is open to Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida National Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Status technicians. First consideration will be given to Category 1.PCS:Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

MILITARY GRADES: ENLISTED/WARRANT OFFICER; E1 thru CW2
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience or training which demonstrates the ability to perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic system operations. Experience demonstrating the ability to fit and adjust parts and assemblies.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : WG-09 must have at least 18 months experience or training in dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling various artillery subassemblies. Experience which has demonstrated the ability to diagnose malfunctions by recognizing worn or damaged parts by measurement, strength of springs or dimension of parts. Experience using hand tools, a limited number of measuring instruments, and a variety of test equipment. Experience which demonstrated the ability to interpret and apply a variety of technical manuals and similar published materials.
