This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: you must possess current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) in any state, District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico.In addition to the SPF and Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Providing technical support and discipline expertise to the contracting processes related to design-build/design-bid-build, source selection processes, and design and construction program requirements to develop construction and design contracts; 2) Developing or assisting in the development of Scopes of Work, market research, drafting Acquisition Plans and Source Selection Plans; 3) Participating on Technical Evaluation Teams (TETs) and Source Selection Boards (SSBs); and 4) Assisting with research to develop future requirements for construction and design contracts.
