RECREATION AIDE (BINGO) - FLEX

Description:

This position is located in the River Cove Community Center at NAS Jacksonville, Florida. The primary purpose of this position is to perform the various duties involved in a bingo program.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Must be a mature individual who can exercise control over a large group of people.
  • Must be able to maintain composure in a fast paced sometimes-stressful environment.
    • Must present a neat, clean and presentable appearance.
      • Must be able to accurately make change and handle large amounts of Bingo cards and money.
        • Must successfully complete the National Agency Check.
          • Must have analytical ability to reconcile cards sold.
            • Must be able to operate a computerized point of sale system.
              • Position requires a constant vigilance to ensure events are carried out in a desirable manner. A clear, voice is necessary.

                You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

                Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
